Episode 3: Night Photography Gear Basics

Ok, so my student’s gave me the #kristinetheenabler, but I’m going to del it to you straight. This episode is not about making your gas even worse (no, not from your lunch, I’m talking about “G”ear “A”cquisition “S”yndrome) instead I outline the base kit needed for shooting the Milky Way.

Anyone who knows me and my gear, knows that I am still using a camera that is 8 years old and a tripod that is going on 14 years.

The fact of the matter is most of us are not pushing our gear to it’s absolute limits and getting everything available out of that gear.

So yeah, this episode is about enabling, but specifically enabling you to get your butt out there and start shooting!

By the time you are done listening you will learn:

  • Exactly what gear you need to shoot the Milky Way

  • The specs your camera needs to have to be successful

  • What is more important than gear

When you finish listening, I'd love to hear your biggest takeaway from today’s episode. Take a screenshot of you listening on your device, share it to your Instagram or Facebook stories and tag me. @kristinerosephotography

And if you want to take the conversation deeper I’d love to have you inside my podcast Facebook group here!
